hi i have a customer who wants cake pops and dessert shots but i will be out of town when she wants them. i told her cake pops can be frozen but dessert shots im not so sure. can anyone tell me if i can freeze decorated cake pops and decorated dessert shots that will likely contain jams and whipped cream and mousse?  she would have to freeze them for 8-9 days.

best answer is “maybe” — you need to test it all out — and compare the ones you freeze/thaw to the ones you don’t freeze and make sure the textures and flavors hold up

you can make partial recipes if need be — and she’s gotta have enough freezer space because you’ll have them boxed
