Can You Paint Sugar Pearls?

Hey, I wanted to know if it is possible to paint sugar pearls with edible food paint? will it dry ?

I've done it with Wilton color most. I sprayed in to a baggie, added the pearls, swirled them around, and let them dry on parchment. Worked great.

I don't see why you couldn't.  I would mix the gel food coloring/color dust with vodka in a plastic bag or even a mason jar, dump in the pearls, give it a good shake and then let them dry on a parchment covered cookie sheet.

I used metallic paint and it worked great! I let them dry and then used them. Thanks for all the help!
