Hi, I have a costumer who is wanting a donut flavor cake.  Does anyone know or have done a similar cake flavors?  I have never heard of that kind of flavor. I was thinking maybe have donuts incorporated in the the cake itself?  Any tips will be appreciated.

With no experience that’s what I would do   Maybe dry some donuts &grind them up to replace some of the flour?

Donuts generally get most of their flavor from the filling or the glaze (plain powdered sugar and milk, usually).  Is that what she's wanting?

And then there are different kinds of donuts - baked, 'plain', glazed, some are cake-like some more like a angel food cake.  I think y ou need to find out more of what the customer wants.
