Hello everyone, first time poster.

I am making a wedding cake for my sister-in-law in October. My question is she wants flowers on her cake and she wants them to be edible. Which would be the best route to go, making gum paste flowers or making them out of modeling chocolate?

If she really wants to eat them, make them from chocolate or modeling chocolate.  Gum Paste tastes like sweetened wall paper paste.

Sedar Yenner has a tutorial for making easy chocolate flowers which are beautiful (not realistic) and yummy...because they are chocolate!
