Hi everyone,

I am asked to bake this "Weed  leaf shaped cake" which can serve 25 people. How big of a round cake I should start with? 9"  or 10"??

Thank you so much in advance.

I would do an 11" or 12" one layer cake -- you could probably squeeze it out of a 10" two layer but the proportions might not be right -- it might be too thick -- but to be sure I would draw the template for it and when you cut out the sections in between the leaves -- turn them around so they can be the tips of the leaves -- it might just work out of a two layer 10" -- but play around with your template to be sure -- see what I mean
