.Ive been operating under a Partnership for the last two years however I am buying out my partner. I am wanting to move to an LLC on top of this.....Do I need to RE-register as a sole proprietorship before I register as a LLC? I had read that a partnership can be transferred to an LLC without affecting the partnership agreement. BUT in my case I no longer want the partner to carry on through to the LLC with me. I apologize if I am not articulating my question correctly...Hopefully someone will understand. Thanks! :)
