How high I should make Unicorn horn for 8" inch round cake, and please advise for the ears as well.?

I'd suggest using an ice cream cone for the horn and the ears about 2 to 3" long.

I would make the horn about 6 inches long and he ears about 3 inches.  Don't worry too much, all unicorns are different, haha.
