Sweet 16 Party this Saturday and I'm thinking after tasting it,  that the ganache is not sweet. First time making it, maybe should have used milk chocolate instead of of semi-sweet... Anyhow, how can I sweeten some of this for filler inside cake. Can I add whipped cream? Thank you

I would melt some white chocolate and add it in to the ganache - no extra cream, just the chocolate, you will need to melt your already made ganache to add the melted white chocolate though.

I have mixed white chocolate ganache and dark chocolate ganache for a lovely sweet ganache.

i have also stirred salted caramel (thick sauce in a jar) with ganache for a delicious cake filling. Could do likewise with Nutella.

I believe you can also mix buttercream with ganache - haven’t tried it.
