Hi there!

does anyone have a good suggestion as to how you can fulfill the requirement of writing all the ingredients on a label for an item that may have used cake mix or some other pre-made ingredient that has lots of ingredients in it itself.

The Avery labels for smaller packages (like a 6 pack of cupcakes) arent very big. I can’t seem to find a way around this issue other than giving the ingredient label to a customer on a separate piece of paper but I wish there was a better way.

My state’s cottage food laws require all the ingredients on the label but this is so much easier to do when the label is going on a big box as opposed to a little one or worse -  a cellophane bag filled with thugs like macaroons. Ugh!

Help!

I suggest you ask your ? to the people who make up the cottage food laws in your area.  Not sure any of us can tell  you ...... sounds to me like it's a touchy subject.

print them all and use two labels -- use a mix with less ingredients -- they are out there
