Hello I was looking at edible paint on Etsy because I use a lot of gold. A 15mL bottle of edible paint is around $7-$8.

4 grams  of luster dust is about $9. I've never used the edible paint.  So my question is which one is the best value, and which has the best color contrast?

well you have to buy some kind of alcohol to go with the dust but idk you'd get a ton more paint too -- that's just a half ounce of paint and i could make a lot more paint than that with the alcohol and the powder --  i always mixed mine -- but just depends on the kind of dust and paint as to how high the contrast is -- but i would recommend the powder and the alcohol -- i used everclear mainly
