I made 30 cutout cookies and want to use the color flooding technique.  Do I outline each of them first, then go back and flood them? OR do I do one at a time?  There are four colors on each cookie - shape of a tugboat.

Yes, do all the outlining 1st.  That will give the outline plenty of time to set up so it does not absorb the fl,ooding )

I personally don’t like outlining and flooding, so I usually use about a 12-15 second RI and do my cookies one at a time.  But that’s just me!

i thin cookie batter down with water or milk, color it and pipe on whatever details then bake -- then i glaze the cookie -- mmm

or i just decorate gingerbread cookies with white choco -- mmm

if i pipe thed outline for 30 cookies before filling any i can assure you i would knock some of the outlines off moving everything around -- i would do like a pan at a time or something -- the less you handle each cookie the faster/better it goes

you might spin the pan around a time or two  but you'll go nuts fast moving 30 cookies over and over and over in order to get them done -- use a turntable -- stand on a step so you can hover over the pan -- getting arranged properly ergonomically will make everything better -- no joke
