How would I do Bowsers arms like this? It seems like I’d just kinda do the “snakes” and the details then just kinda overlap them. Idk maybe I’mjust scared...I have been putting it off since July-it was supposed to be my sons cake for his birthday...he knew it was and is coming...but between work and all the kids I just haven’t had time to do it (which sucks)

Yeah, I would probably start with thick "snakes" of fondant, attach them to the body and then use sculpting tools to add any creases or details.  Then I would add his bracelet, fingers and nails after I had the arms the way I wanted them.

And don't be scared.  As long as you have a basic plan in place you will be fine.  I have also found that whenever I had to sculpt something once I started I had a even clearer idea of how to get things to look the way I want.  The actual starting of the piece is always the hardest part, at least for me.

I can't wait to see the final product!

Thanks Freckles. I feel the same way. Starting is always the hardest. Ive been trying to start Bowser for 2 weeks now, not knowing how to start, where to start, etc. And JUST NOW started putting him together.
