Hi everyone,

I made a cake and it is covered with fondant. I have to stick sand (crushed cookies), plastic surf boards and Fondant waves. What should I use to make them stick?

Any products that won't require me to go out and purchase would be great!

Thanks in advance!

I would use b'cream but then most of my decorating is done in b'cream so I have it on hand :)  You can use a light coat of piping gel or melted chocolate.

Piping gel for the sand, royal icing for the pieces.

I would probably use piping gel for the sand, but if you don't have it on hand, you could spread on a thin coat of  Crisco for the sugar.  it would not be enough to effect the taste.  Melted chocolate is my preference for sticking on heavier pieces, just because I always have candy melts on hand.
