We're talking LOL Surprise Doll cookie cutters! For 12 cutters of about 3.5 inches in size, they are $100. Customer has no problem paying for them but I'm wondering what others do when it comes to specialty items like this?

Thanks!

I would have included that cost into the final price of the order (not sure if I would have called that cost out specifically to the customer but rather included that cost into my overall final quote) , especially since it is a specialty item that you need to purchase specifically for the order and will most likely never use again.

Wow that's super expensive!

Just wondering, as I don't sell cakes or cookies, if you tell someone you have to buy the cutters (or any other equipment) and charge them for it, can't they reasonably ask to have whatever it is afterwards?  And if  you're okay with giving it to them afterwards fine, but otherwise I'd imagine it would be better to add it into your total cost and not specify the cost of the itemS you have to buy.
