a customer request whipped icing all the recipes i find all recipes for whipped cream. I an to make something similar to the kind you get if you go to bakery at grocery store. Is stabilized whipped cream considered whipped icing (using gelatin)? And what do you prefer heavy whipping cream or whipping cream? Thank-you in advance.
This is my favorite icing recipe. The long mixing creates a creamy, wonderful finished product. When customers ask for something special like this I usually have to say something likle this: this is what I use and I can't take chances w/something I am not fimlilar with. Unless you can provide me with a recipe that I can try ahead of time I'm sorry but I do not know what it is that you want.
This is my go-to whipped frosting recipe. It's not too sweet, holds up well and has a great texture (will hold up to piping).
