Has anyone ever used the Ateco SPS system  I accidentally order this brand from Amazon.  Now I'm nervous about using them.  Thanks!

i may have -- ateco is a solid name in cake deco -- i'm sure they are fine -- all plastic right?

They look to be.  Do you need to use a center dowel with sps?  Cuz there appears to be no hole in the middle.

the plates typically are solid -- no holes

I just used this for a wedding cake last weekend. I thought it worked well. The dowels are coated cardboard and come in different lengths and must be purchased separately from the plates. There is no center hole but you can drill one if needed. Lady Mary Ateco Sps
