Hello everyone,

I've been trying to make a fondant figurine of BB8 - and i struggled a lot trying to keep the body of the figure a perfect sphere while I left it out to dry. I live in a place with high humidity so thought that perhaps the temperature is making it hard to dry quickly before the flat surface of the table affects the shape. How do you dry a fondant sphere on a flat surface without the sphere changing shape?? Thanks in advance!

I would wrap it around a styrofoam ball.

Sandra, your answers always make me think "duh", why didn't I think of that!  I learn so much from reading your responses.  Just wanted to say thanks for all the info you share.  :)

Haha, cutiger, that is because i am self taught and have to figure out everything from the ground up.  You should see some of my contraptions, many of them disastrous!
