Those are very pretty, but all I can think of is how hard it will be to clean those small lines, ugh.
mb -- yes -- my hands shook as I typed hahahahaha
craftyb -- well for one thing my husband does most of the dishes -- the best way to clean them is the same way they got dirty -- fill with water & bake -- easy peasy
kakeladi -- that's all I can do if that -- I love glazed pound cake -- I have a lot of bananas in the freezer for banana bread too -- my husband helps me with stuff like that
that's gorgeous, gscout -- I love the decorated loaf pans -- makes a happening out of a banana bread or a meatloaf -- a thing of beauty
All those pans are lovely. Remind me of the pound cakes done in fancy molded pans at the potluck suppers at my church growing up in the 60’s. I wouldn’t have a use for these types of pans anymore as it’s just hubby and I now. Don’t bake fancy for us.
exactly I have a few meetings I attend monthly so it might be cool to get a few of these -- I love cold oven pound cake -- I mean why use dthe pans I already have when I could get new ones right? hahahaha
but honestly and truly I don't have any of those pretty loafish pans -- 11x5x3 they are approx. -- a larger flatter loaf -- which would be good for a better bake too -- I love that flowery one -- but of course that's not on zulily just at William$ $onoma

I am crazy about both of those loaf pans! I have a few of their bundt pans and I use the fancy ones for just Mike and me all the time. Now I want fancy loaf pans, too! Thanks, -K8memphis! Like you, I need another cake pan like I need another hole in my head!
oh no -- in post 19 I copied three pictures of the loaf pans -- so far they haven't showed up --- oops
probably should have done one at a time or tried to scale them down -- sorry, Jackie!
