Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good recipe source for gourmet/high end layer cakes. Thanks to old Chocolatier magazines, I have all I could ever need for gourmet chocolate cakes, but I'm looking for the equivalent for non-chocolate cakes.

I think a few good, moist basics cakes are your foundation. What elevates a cake to the "gourmet" level is the choices of fillings, frostings and finishes!!
