Opening up another session of FNCC!  Everyone is welcome to share what they have been up to this week, post photos of their work, ask for help or provide help if you are able to.

I get to cross a cake off my bucket list of cakes this weekend as my friend Scott has asked me to make a cheeseburger cake for Sunday.  I have two more cakes to do for next week and have already started making wafer paper flowers for them.  

Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has been up to! ☺

I'm not real happy about how my torii turned out. I wanted a more traditional look but ended up with a Frank Lloyd Wright piece instead. One of the legs is shifty as well....stupid pastiage.

Inspired by cakes by Lynz for a friend who requested something like it. 

Wow fantastic flowers there kstevens and I can't wait to see the cheeseburger!! And the torii is fantastic!! The whole cake is!!

Was a rainbow dash cake for mr this week!! The ruffles on this cake took forever!!! Top vanilla tier is in rainbow colours inside and the bottom chocolate tier had a load of smarties, skittles and gold mini eggs inside!!

@thecanadian160 I know the feeling of a cake not turning out the way you envision it way too much... If it can make you feel any beter, I think your cake looks very good! Your ninja (not familiar with martial art... so sorry if it's not the real name for him...) is realy cool!

ShellBell- great touch with the sparkle accents- it really makes each each color more dynamic. 

As usual the work on here is simply wonderful!  Each one is just so perfect it makes me glad I have hung up my spatula :(

I finished my cheeseburger cake and was overall pretty happy with it.  The top bun was a little too tall but it wasn't obvious until I stuck it on the rest of the cake and then I was too nervous to try and peel it off to cut it down some.  It would have looked better aurbtushed too but I don't have the right airbrush color so I painted it instead with a mix of ivory gel paste and vodka.  The fries are sugar cookies that I dusted a bit for more color.  It was a fun cake to do!

This is the 1st thing that I've made since moving to Florida.  In memory of my father who recently passed on this year.  This is what came to my mind to make for him.  I think that he would have liked it.......

Zoe made this beast over the weekend. Didnt take to lng and really impressed with how it cane out.

MBflorida........it just doesn't have the same ring to it, but I could change it.    same amount of letters, same number of syllables, geographically accurate.  I just probably wouldn't remember I'd changed it. lol....

That cake was for our little Cub Scout for their Blue & Gold Banquet last week. The inside was blue, gold & white swirls. The theme was Adabracadabra.
