Anyone want to throw in their favorite butter brands?  I'm particular on taste and find that some grocery store brands (kroger and great value) as well as Land o Lakes, often taste stale. I'm not opposed to ordering them online if need be.

Thanks!

Me either.  The only difference I've ever noticed was between salted and unsalted butter.  We even milked our own cows and made our own butter and I still cannot tell that much difference between brands and the fresh, homemade.

I really like the Challenge brand European style unsalted butter and the Cabot Creamery unsalted butter. Out of everything I've tried they taste the best, great consistency and baked goods and frostings turn out as expected.
