Do you think galaxy look on a cake could be accomplished with Wilton color mists? Has anyone tried it? How did it turn out?
I haven't used it for a galaxy cake, but I've used it to paint a cake gold and it was very pretty. It was my Superman cake. If it has not already been posted on my page, I'll post it now so you can see it.
I've never used it to do a galaxy cake. But i can't tell you that using buttercream for galaxy icing works great. I did galaxy cupcake with a galaxy swirl icing and it worked great. So with a cake you could take whatever colors you desire in your "galaxy design" in different places on the cake and then take your spatula and smooth ice the cake and the colors will start to blend. It would probably help if you put the cake on a turn table. Hope this helps somehow! Be blessed!
Thank you thecakeartist2017 . I will do it with buttercream. That will be safe and cost effective too! :)
You're welcome! I think it should work quite well, though i haven't tried that exact pattern. Coat effective is great! ThPugh the spray is so pretty. Hope it turns out for you! Be blessed!
I made one for my husband's birthday last year exactly like that:

I used the Wilton color mists for it. You should probably let each color dry before spraying on the next one if you do it though or else they can run.
