I Smell A Scam. Has Anyone Receive A Suspicious Email From Sfsourdough?

I received this weird message "you've been a contributor to the baking community blah, blah, blah"  This person has no account and it sounds as if they are asking for money.  That they are not going to get!  I tried to find the message, now its gone.  What's wrong with people?  You come to a cake site to run a con?  Ugh.

I got one the other day and didn't bother returning the message, or clicking his link, so I just deleted it.  It struck me as odd.

ypierce 82 You too?  See?  I thought I smelled a fondant rat!  Its a shame you can't just have fun talking about cakes without some shady person lurkimg behind.  I say: Get. A. Job.

Yes, I deleted it. First clue it was a scam was when it said I was a major contributor to the industry in my area! LOL OMG! hahahahahahahahahahahaha   yeah - no.

Yes, I laughed too at the "contributer to the baking community."  I'm an amateur and bake only for family and close friends.  How did they catch up with me?
