Hi everyone!

I have but one cake this week and that's not till tomorrow night. Just a simple "rose" cake for a Mama to Be that my daughter knows. Trying to decide if I want to go to all the trouble of ombre! LOL!

I have no cake this week but I'm starting to think about my mom's birthday cake. I want to do a drip cake and decorate it with macarons. I saw a lot of those lately. I was wondering how the macarons handle humidity? I dont want them to melt on the cake... Should I put them on last minutes? Any thoughts?

So here is the baby shower cake. Simple. I'm most surely NOT a pink person so this was not a happy cake for me but the Mom to Be was very touched that I made her cake...so very worth it.

@louglou I love the emoji cake. The "poopy" top tier is awsome.

@catlharper such a cute cake! I love the dark pink/fushia you achieve. I dont have luck with bright color like that. 

I am always slow for these posts. This is my finding Dory cake from this past weekend.

This is not the best picture, and without the base board (which is decorated to match). I am not sure if I will get a chance to snap a photo of it once at the place, but I hope to have enough time for that.

Love the ocean and animal cakes! I wish I had more orders for kids cakes. Carousel was for a baby shower.
