Hi all! I was asked to make a sheet cake that would feed about 75 people but i'm not sure of what size i will need. Please help lol.Thank you in advance :)
What size servings do they want? I think I would go with the full sheet cake for that many. 16 x24 inches. This would technically give you 96 pieces that are 2x2 or 64 pieces that are 2x3
Figuring out the # of servings in a sheet cake (any size) is very easy. It depends if you do one or two layers and what size serving you are going to charge for. A cake 12x16x4 will give you 96 servings. Be sure to charge for the amount of servings the cake yields NOT what the customer asks for. We can't always come up with the exact # the request. We have to use what size pans are available to us.
