Ok, all of you great people. I have another question. Under a 12" cake that is going to be about 5" high, is it better to use two cardboard cake circles for strength under it so it doesn't buckle when putting it on top of a 14" cake or is one strong enough? I haven't made this yet, but will be attempting it soon.  I hope this is not too dumb a question.

it's an excellent question -- i would use the skinny foam core board -- or like three cardboard circles hot glued together --

Doitright:   I have not seen extra copies of your post but here is what I have done in the past:  As soon as yhou see extra posts click into it and click on the 'actions' button.  There are severl choices - at the bottom is 'delete'.  If you're quick enough after it was posted it will delete them.   Helps keep the board 'cleaned up' :)
