Does anyone use seperator plates/hidden pillars that aren't Wilton brand? I had a cake friend give me some a long time ago that were not Wilton, and I liked them better. But now I can't remember what they were! They were white and similar to Wilton, but they seemed thicker and the plates had a small point in the center to hold the cake board on.

could it be SPS? They sell them on amazon. They may have other brands but I hear the SPS works great.

Bakery Crafts is one place.  Jeff (a contributer on here) has talked of some w/that point in the center.  Maybe he'll jump in here and tell you where he get  his.

I really like Pfeil  and Holing's Coast Tier Seperator System.
