I tried reading all the comments and replies but there were so many and I just couldn't find an answer to my question. I also tried leaving a question on that recipe page but the site wouldn't let me.

I would like to know, How much cake will this recipe cover and can it be cut in half. I only need to cover a 6" cake and add a few decorations. I'm actually making a face from a 6" cake. So I need to cover the cake and just make eyes, nose, mouth and eyebrows. Thanks.
