I love this cake and want to make it for a friends engagement party. Photo on the right.

Can one know where I can find these molds and what colors do I use to get the same tone?

Also how to marble this shade??

Thanks for any help

I watched a few videos of decorators creating marbled fondant by twisting together different colored fondants.  https://www.craftsy.com/blog/2015/12/how-to-marble-fondant/

You may have to play around with the ration of colors to get the look you are going for.

As for the leaves and such, it looks like they used the same color fondant as was used to cover the cake and then used gold luster dust to create that antique effect.  As for the molds, just google fondant molds to see what you can find.

Hi Thanks for your help!

So white or grey fondant?

Best,

Pam

Hi Pam,

I would start with white and several shades of dark rolled into thin logs, pushed and twisted together and kneaded until I got the desired marble effect.

When you roll it out, make sure you check both sides of your fondant - sometimes the design on the bottom is even better than what you see on top!

Hi

What color would you use?

Pam

Black? or is there a grey?

Yes, start w/white fondant and add some dots of black paste color.  Again, as I said in the other threads, don't add too much.
