Hi,

I am planning to make a coffee and walnut cake for a friend, and she wants the caked iced in buttercream. I make Italian meringue buttercream for a filling normally, so I will use this as a icing.

I have never iced with IMB before, so when it is done, can I leave it in the fridge until needed the next day ?

Thanks

Adrian

Yes.  Just take it out an hour or two before serving (depending on temp at venue) so it has time to soften a bit.
