I am making some 50th wedding anniversary cupcakes and want to airbrush some rise leaves gold and then put them on some buttercream roses. How long do I need to let them dry before and after airbrushing? Do you think I need to airbrush both sides of the leaf? Any advice on how to put them on without removing the gold?

I have over 100 cupcakes to make so I want to do it as quickly as possible. I am new to airbrushing and any advice you can give is appreciated. Thanks!

What do you mean "rise leaves"?

What medium are you using for those?  If fondant or gumpaste they can be sprayed as soon as they are made.  It should only take a few minutes for the airbrushing to dry especailly if the leaves are already dried.  It probably would look best if colored on both sides :)
