Hi, I was wondering if it's a good idea to frost cake slices and freeze them for sampling.  if not, does anyone know how I should freeze unfrosted slices? Would individually wrapping them in cling wrap then in a bigger ziplock bag a good idea? Ahhh someone please help me make an easy way to prepare my cake samples and not have to make a new batch every time!

Sure you can freeze individual slices either ice or not.   Just wrap each slice in plastic wrap, then put them into a ziploc type bag.  They can be kept about 2-3 months.
