Can anyone give me ideas on how to cover a cupcake bouquet? I will be making one for my mom for Mother's Day and I can't figure out how I will cover it.

I use cellophane, like the basket wrap. Chill the cupcakes, and drape the wrap over top or put the basket, vase inside and tie it with ribbon.

That's a neat idea! We did cupcake bouquets for their teachers last year and just hand delivered them as is, cause I was uneasy about covering them. We may try that this weekend as well!

Best, if needing to transport anywhere, is a box with a "frame" inside.

-start with a box...real cardboard, not a flimsy "cake" box

- make a "U" shaped piece of cardboard that fits inside.

-"cut the X" in the middle of that U shape to make a hole

-insert pot/ container in that hole.

*** if box is tall enough, you can cover with cellophane and not worry about melting buttercream getting damaged as the bouquet/ pot is secure.
