Hi everyone!  Allergies have me under the weather tonight but wanted to share the taco cake I made for an adored co-workers last day at work!

A collage --- the theme for the baby shower is Winnie the Pooh.  The first cake is for the adults - it's a Butterbeer Cake with brown sugar SMBC .  The second is the baby boy's chocolate with white SMBC smash cake.  The third is themed cupcakes.  The fourth is made with leftover batter and given to a dear friend who spent her birthday in rehab after knee surgery.  All the decorations are fondant.

@ZeKe221 ‍ nah, just a variety of wilton tips.... Mostly 104 I think. Love your cake too. Looks like a chocolate overload! Right up my alley :) my husband has requested the chocolatiest  cake I can come up with for his birthday.... Love the idea of covering the outside with little chocolates! 

@catlharper ‍ great taco cake! That would be a perfect cake for my boyfriend and/or his son as they both love tacos.

No cakes for me this week and I am rather enjoying the break.  Next week will be busy for Mother's day and I have some other cakes coming up as well. Hope everyone had a great week :-) 

I'm loving all of the cake! Here is a cake I did this week for the San Diego Mom Blog anniversary. It was my second tiered cake, and it seems to get easier and easier! The top level was a black magic chocolate cake with creamy chocolate buttercream. The bottom was vanilla with espresso buttercream. 

Brilliant cakes everyone and some real yummy ones too!!! I've just started my first makeup cake!! But it's for a 7 year old so trying to make sure it doesn't look too grown up!! 

Fab cakes everyone. I particularly love the little bees and the brush in that make-up set! I did a double take!

I've been stuck in the cake cave for several days running working on yesterday's wedding cake. Super happy with how it turned out!

Great cakes everyone!

I loved everyones cakes this wee,My week was busy preping for the star wars birthday bash we are having on the 20th. I got my cake forms cover in fondant. Since the display is a surprise I can't do more till monday. My second try for orange creamsicle cupcakes literally flopped.  Still need to figure that out if I don't want orange vanilla cupcakes.  Theme for cake table is BB8, 

Besides finishing  the display cake next week I going to tackle making rock candy sticks. I am still debating what to top the cake board with. It needs to look like sand but the party is outside and I am worried already about rain that day since that's what we have had almost daily for the last few weeks.

@kstevens ‍ I sell quite a few of these deffo seem like chocolate overload I've never eaten on fully made just left over bits haha. There's loads of chocolate gauche in the middle too. Think I need cream with it to take the chocolate edge of it lol. 

Hi guys...SERIOUSLY loving all of the cakes. The bees are adorable, love the bright colors of the Cinco de Mayo cake as well as the daffodil cake, that wedding cake is simply gorgeous, and whoa! that chocolate overload cake! The make up is simply perfect...I'm fascinated by the blush brush! Can't wait to see the final cake!

I start work today on the birthday cake for a special friend. She is leaving for Scotland soon for 2 years so I want to really hit this one out of the park for her. I will share Friday!

This was my most recent cake, which was an 8 inch cake for a baby boy shower. Given the extreme time crunch I was pleased with the outcome. I normally try to work mine out over a 3 day period with working night shift, but this one was all done in one day from bake to finish after coming off a 12hr shift. EEK! Not fun.

Love all the pics posted, especially love the two tier watercolor cake and those makeup pieces! Great job everyone!!!
