Hello All!

I am thinking of having a sample sale for my home cupcakery. But wasn't sure how to go about it. Has anyone done this before? Any suggestions would be great! My S/O thinks there should be some type of incentive, but I'm not sure as to what the incentive should be. I'm doing to build customer base and to get my name out there outside of my direct circle of families, friends and coworkers.

Not following what exactly you mean by a 'sample sale'.   Do you want to offer small cakes, cupcakes etc?    Maybe offer 4 cupcakes for 1/2 price?  Be sure to package them together so they know it has to be 4 to get the special price.   And make sure people know it's a 1/2 price sale for a limited time.   Offer new flavors both in the cake & icings - new combonations.  Offer special decorating that you are dying to try.
