Hey All!

I received an order for 40 mini cupcakes for a Sunday baby shower & they want to pick up Friday afternoon. I plan on baking early Friday morning so that they are as fresh as possible, but do you think the cupcakes will be fine sitting out in a plastic container from Friday - Sunday & stay fresh?? I'm worried about minis drying out! I know the fridge dries them out so I didn't want to advise them to keep them refrigerated either!

Any advice would be appreciated blush

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat now...how did these turn out for the shower?

I, personally would not want cupcakes that were three days old unless you had put them in the freezer and took them out to thaw on day of shower and frosted then. When frozen the cupcakes stay fresh but sitting out I really don't know since I do not do for a living.  I remember once buying a cupcake from Public and it was as stale as could be because it had been sitting out for a couple of days.  I took it back and asked if they had any fresh ones and exchanged it (though I had a bite from it)and boy what a difference in the fresh tasting ones they had made the same day.  Now if I buy from store I ask for fresh ones.
