Any thoughts on the gold stripes here?

Are they ribbon?  Painted/stenciled on?

I have to make these in a rose gold color so wondering which way I want tackle it.  Rose Gold ribbon will be hard to find.

THank you for your insights and suggestions!!

Gosh, it's hard to tell from that photo, but I'd guess painted.  Possibly stencil and airbrush.  On Craftsy, Erica O'brien does a similar design with a string dipped in paint, in one of her classes.

About the rose gold:  Evil Cake Genius has a little guide that tells you all the metallic variations.  She uses Bronze for Rose Gold, or Bronze + Silver.  Aaaaaand they sell edible GOLD SEQUINS as in the above photo.  Heck, they might even have a stencil for that ribbon pattern....
