Hi Everyone

I use marshmallow fondant to cover my cakes and also for decoration. I find that my marshmallow fondant is great however I would like the fondant a little sturdier/tougher for my decorations e.g flowers/roses/bows etc. would adding Tylose powder to the marshmallow fondant do the trick.

I like using marshmallow fondant just because of its minimal ingredient and just find it really easy to use and make for a fondant so really want to use for flowers and things too.

I use Tylose powder in my MMF all the time.  I also have added some ready made fondant to my MMF to get the consistency that I want.  I find that if I add 1-2 tsp of Tylose (depending on the amount of fondant you are using) that it works better if I knead it in and wait a couple of hours before using it.  Hope this helps you.
