Hi! I have a request from a client to make this cake

How Do I Stabilize This Cake?

She wants the bottom (Mickey) as the only edible part. About 12" long. The rest can be styrofoam. Does anybody know how I can safely stack all the other tiers?  How do I stabilize the structure? Thanks!

yep, defininately use styrofoam for the other characters, and use a central pole for support. the characters that are to the side, use large skewers to anchor it into the ones below.

Can you suggest what I can use as central pole?

I would either use a timber dowel or or even copper pipe. Make sure you anchor it in your base board well (you can do this by having a thick base board and drilling a hole for the dowel to go into with some glue). I hope that helps.
