I've been asked to make cupcakes for a party and the colour scheme is pale pink and champagne gold.  I'm going to use baking cups instead of cases so that they hold their shape.

I can find some really nice pink ones but I'm struggling to find gold cups.  The only things I've been able to find so far are the shiny gold cases but that's not what I'm after.

Does anyone have any suggestions where I can get them from, I'm in the UK but can obviously order online from overseas if needs be (and shipping isn't too expensive).

Thanks.

no, i can't think of any -- sorry

i mean you could use a candy cup like this:

http://www.webstaurantstore.com/dart-solo-325-3-25-oz-white-paper-souffle-portion-cup-250-pack/99950SOU.html

and then since the sides are straight you could find the perfect wrapping paper and make covers -- you could make covers for the other kind too of course

Thank you K8memphis, very much appreciated.  I think I'll order the plain cups and then decorate as you suggested.

Good idea!
