I was going to use a nice piece of wood covered in fondant with ribbon around the edges for my cake board. With the dimensions of my cake, now it would be easier to cover a piece of foam board. What do you do on the edges since it is not thick enough for ribbon?  Anyone have any pictures?

I still use ribbon - either double up the foam board or glue smaller boards ( or even "feet") under your foam board.
