My Grandson and his future wife want me to make one of your cakes.  I have searched and searched and cannot find a mat to make the lace on this cake.  Is this possibly real lace?  Thank you so much for the help.  I'm really pulling my hair out.

Finding that EXACT lace mat will be difficult... there's basically no way to search for something like that; the business who sold it could have gone out of business; etc. To keep your sanity, I would give up searching for that exact lace pattern and find another lace mat you like :)

This totally looks like real lace to me, the way it's draped around the cake. I find real lace so much more convenient, don't you?

If it must be sugar lace, I recommend the Clare Bowman sugar mix, and Crystal Candy mats - they have a huge selection there.

Thanks so much for the input.  I've never used real lace on a cake.  Do you wash it first?  Line it with anything?  Thanks

Nah. Just wrap it around the cake like normal ribbon. I use some transparent double-sided tape to stick it together where the ends overlap.

Thank you littlemo12! :)

It's a 4-6-8 inch, each tier is 4" tall. Hope that helps :)
