A friend asked me if I knew of a recipe that his grandmother used to make.  He described it as follows: "It was shaped like a daisy with petals.  It had a cherry "candy" center.  He said that it was puffed up and it was covered either in cinnamon & sugar or powdered sugar.  I'm thinking that it might be some sort of monkey bread, just shaped like the daisy petals.

Anyone out there have any ideas?   Anything ideas will be greatly appreciated.
