Hi everyone!
Well, it's been a VERY busy week. I just finished the cupcakes for our Christmas party tomorrow night. Unfortunately it's way too dark to photograph them so I'll make sure to do so in the morning and post when I can! Hope everyone had a great week and that your holidays are going well!

This is the only cake I did this week. I did cascading rosettes. These cakes are SO popular!
I made these Christmas wreath cupcakes, they were for one of the school mums who is always raising money for charities this time for st Catherine's hospice she only asked me if I could make a few cupcakes ha ha!![postimage id="6027" thumb="900"][postimage id="6028" thumb="900"]
I was working on my decorated sugar cookies using the no fail sugar cookie recipe, but they did spread. They're coming out ok, nothing fancy, just decorated. And after I make some ornament cupcakes today I will go back to decorating more.

I've missed so many of these this year! We moved twice this year to two different states and had to close up shop and start all over again. Finally up and running again! Sadly no Christmas/Holiday cakes yet but hopefully this coming week.
I just sent these off with a customer for a little girls birthday. Moana Cupcakes![postimage id="6030" thumb="900"]
@OHaresTstyTrts LOVE your cupcakes and toppers!
My oldest daughter absolutely LOVES Moana, so I will be doing her cake in March to this theme. I am excited!
Thank you, gigglebox2014.II'd really like to be able to do cookies that have the flooded icing, but have been too chicken to try it. Maybe tomorrow.
Hi everyone! I've been away for a while, no cake projects for a while but today I made my second ever yule log cake.
I think it turned out better this year.
@OHaresTstyTrts I love your Moana cupcakes!
So question: My husband's birthday is January 5th and I'm planning to do a galaxy cake for him as he loves astronomy. I want to do a round layer cake with fondant, and spray on colors with Wilton color mists, titanium white color gel splatters and star sprinkles. Should I start with white fondant or blue fondant? I would do black, blue and purple for the colors, and maybe pink if I go with white fondant as the base. Anybody tried this before? I haven't got up the courage to do a mirror glaze cake yet. :)
Hi @GIGGLEBOX2014 I've seen both of those before; I went back and watched the first one since I couldn't remember if she started with white and she does. Thanks! White fondant is a bit cheaper anyway. :)
I made my wedding cake this week! This is actually a display cake I made about a week ahead of time and we served sheet cakes I hid away in the venue's kitchen. Gumpaste poinsettias, roses, and stephanotis. :)

Gorgeous wedding cake!! I did a dummy cake for a winter wedding. The bride wanted ice cream cones served but the groom insisted he wanted to do the traditional cutting of a wedding cake. So I made a dummy with a slice of real cake inserted. No one could tell. I was told that when they served the ice cream cones guests were asking about the cake, and were in disbelief it was not real until the bride and groom picked it up off the table.
Beautiful creations, everyone! All i had this week were a couple of small repeat designs of last week's cake, a few simple snowflake cupcakes, and i worked on a surprize for my son, whose birthday will be while we are away on winter break. I hope the pokemon balls freeze well, and travel well. They are about pool ball size. It was an experiment at making these individual cakes, but i learned a bunch, and can tackle a pool table cake, or more pokemons. (My son is turning 8, so pokemon is Big Deal)
