Hello,
A local salon near me wants me to make cupcakes they can give their clients. They will be sitting on a glass covered pedestal, so I am looking for a buttercream that will withstand this 3 day period, but will still taste absolutely delicious! Any thoughts?
He also wants to order in bulk so he doesn't have to keep picking them up. Could he just freeze and defrost?
Do try the"2 of everything icing" recipe that I posted in the recipe section. It is very good and definately will hold up for your requirements.
Yes, cupcakes can be frozen. Sometimes the paper liner comes loose - at least my experience has been so - so maybe give him some nice sturdy liners (those more like cardboard and decortive) so he can slip them out of the fzr into a new cup. Anyhooo that's what I'd do.
