I'm at a friends house to make my daughter's wedding cake. I forgot to pack sugar and I have no car (traveling). My friend only had turbinado/sugar in the raw. Can I bake the yellow cake with it???

it will change the texture but it will make a cake

y'know like the best sugar typically is super fine so it will be different with turbinado

I have not had good results baking  cake with Turbinado. Wouldn't risk it, esp for a wedding cake.
