Are you referring to the bunting banners hung between 2 sticks?  You can use  wooden skewers or cookie pop sticks, they are longer than the regular cake pop sticks. I have seen some that look like straws, but i think the straws may not be strong enough. But you could slide the wooden skewer into the straw. HTH
