I'm stumped. Have an order for a  (12" round) cake for a high school graduation. The only direction I've been given is the graduate is "into rap and music" and is going to school to become an athletic trainer.

I really really really dislike cakes covered with the person's "favorite things" because I think they look tacky and mishmashy. My gut reaction is to offer a standard grad cake (diploma, cap, etc.) in the high school colors. Thought maybe someone would have a brilliant idea that incorporates his likes. Halp!

How about a 'surprise inside' cake?  Musical notes, barbell,  free weights, etc. inside?

Rap music and training - that doesn't seem related

A graduate wearing a cap and gown with earphones on and holding free weights? (Sorry!)

Good luck

Thanks for your ideas! Luckily client went with my alternative idea for a double barrel drip cake ala Katherine Sabbath laughing.png
