i just bought the welton pan for barbie dress .

i followed all directions . but the cake didnt bake evenly . i used cake mix it didnt fill it . it was kind of burned from outsife and the narrow bottom . but tge top was barly done the core was not done at all . i used the rod.. has anyone used it before ? whats the tips . i bought it after reading so msny reviews about it most were good .so i dvdont know what i have done wrong .
