I've been using Sugar Dress spreadable lace mix for over a year now with no problems...until this weekend.
I did did a wedding cake with lace on two tiers. The lace went on the cake perfectly as usual. Yet yesterday it started wanting to pull away from the cake...kinda like an air bubble even though the lace was open all over, but you get the idea.
I'm assuming it had something to do with moisture...its been very rainy around here this week. I'm wondering if cutting back on the liquid part (basically just glycerine) would help next time?
Any ideas?
